Abstract

The purpose of this study were to find out the type of moral value that contained and analyzed how those values reflected by the characters in “Eternals” Movie. This study used the theory proposed by Linda & Eyre (1993) and the theory from Lickona (2012) as the supporting theory. This study used “Eternals” movie as the data source. The data were collected by watching, reading the script, taking notes for any important data related to the moral value, and classifying the type of moral value of the collected data. The data were analyzed by using descriptive and qualitative methods. There were thirty three (33) data found in this movie from two types of moral values. The first type is value of being consist of one (1) honesty, two (2) courages, one (1) peace ability, two (2) self-reliances & potentials. The second type is value of giving consist of four (4) loyalties & trustworthies, one (1) respect, eight (8) loves, eight (8) unselfishnesses & sensitivities, two (2) kindnesses & friendlinesses, and four (4) justices & mercies. The result of this study found that the type of moral values love, unselfishness & sensitivity were mostly appeared in the movie.
