IMPLEMENTING BRAINSTORMING WITH PICTURE TO IMPROVE WRITING SKILL OF THE NINTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SMPN 2 HINDU SUKAWATI IN ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023

The presents study aims at figuring out the improvement of writing skill of the ninth grade students of SMPN 2 Hindu Sukawati through Brainstorming techniquewith picture. Here, there were 41 students which consist of 26 males and 16 females in IX A class. Moreover, the present study was classroom action research design. The research was carried out through implementing Brainstorming Technique with picture in two cycles, each cycle consisted of two sessions and the obtained data was analyzed quantitatively from the pre-test, post-test 1, and posttest 2; then qualitatively from the questionnaire. The result of the pos-test in each cycle obviously showed in pre-cycle (58.53) up to cycle I (68.44) then, it improved in cycle II (83.21), that there were significant improvement concerning the subjects’ writing skill. As supporting data, the questionnaire was also administered in the end of the last cycle and the result showed positive responses on the implementation of Brainstorming technique with picture to improve writing skill.It could be concluded that writing skill of the ninth grade students of SMPN 2 Sukawati Sukawati in academic year 2022/2023 could be Brainstorming With Picture to Improve writing Skill
