Abstract
This research aims to find out whether there is any significant correlation between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension of the tenth-grade students at SMAN 6 Denpasar. The basic problem that the researcher wants to discuss in this research were: is there any significant correlation between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension of the tenth-grade students at SMAN 6 Denpasar in academic year 2021/2022. The population of this study was 350 which are the tenthgrade students of SMAN 6 Denpasar. The samples were 35 students which were taken by simple random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using Pearson-Product Moment and T-Test. Based on the finding, it was found that the correlation coefficient obtained is 0.838. It shows that there is significant correlation between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension. It means that the students who get high score in vocabulary mastery also get high score in reading comprehension, and the students who get low score in reading comprehension also gets low score in vocabulary mastery.
