GAMBARAN ERUPSI MOLAR TIGA RAHANG BAWAH SUKU BALI USIA 15 SAMPAI DENGAN 17 TAHUN DITINJAU DENGAN RADIOGRAFI PANORAMIK

Abstrak

Untuk melihat manifestasi oral di rongga mulut yang tidak bisa dilihat dari pemeriksaan klinis dapat terlihat jelas pada gambaran radiografi. Salah satunya teknik radiografi ekstra oral khusus memeriksa rahang atas dan rahang bawah dengan satu film yang disebut radiografi panoramik. Perkembangan gigi berkorelasi dengan tahapan morfologi mineralisasi yang berbeda dan dapat diamati melalui sinar-x yang terlihat dari perubahan gigi yang lebih seragam dan bertahap daripada erupsi serta tidak dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal. Gleiser dan Hunt (2016), merancang 10 tahap klasifikasi dalam menilai perkembangan radiologis molar ketiga lalu di modifikasi oleh Kohler, dengan rancangan ini dapat memiliki kemampuan yang lebih besar untuk membedakan antara tahap perkembangan gigi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran erupsi molar tiga suku Bali berdasarkan usia 15 sampai 17 tahun berdasarkan metode Gleiser and Hunt ditinjau dengan gambaran radiografi panoramik. Rancangan penelitian ini dilakukan secara observasional analitik, Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua hasil radiograf Suku Bali usia 15 - 17 tahun di Bagian Radiologi RSGM Saraswati Denpasar.sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 29 rontgen foto panoramik dengan teknik pengambilan sampel random purposive sampling, dan waktu penelitian november 2021. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif dan uji korelasi pearson. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa identifikasi usia 15-17 tahun Suku Bali melalui gambaran radiografi panoramik molar tiga rahang bawah dengan menggunakan metode Gleiser and Hunt dapat dilakukan.

Abstract

Examining oral manifestations in the oral cavity that cannot be seen from a clinical examination, it can be seen clearly on a radiograph. One of these special extra-oral radiography techniques examines the maxilla and mandible with a single film called panoramic radiography. Tooth development is correlated with different morphological stages of mineralization and can be observed through x-rays which can be seen from tooth changes that are more uniform and gradual than eruption and are not influenced by external factors. Gleiser and Hunt (2016), designed a 10- stage classification for assessing radiological development of third molars and modified by Kohler, with this design having a greater ability to differentiate between stages of tooth development. The purpose of this study was to describe the eruption of the Balinese third molar based on the age of 15 to 17 years based on the Gleiser and Hunt method in terms of panoramic radiography. The research design was carried out by analytical observation. The population in this study were all radiographs of Balinese ethnic groups aged 15-17 years at the Radiology Section of RSGM Saraswati Denpasar. The samples used were 29 X-rays of panoramic photos with random purposive sampling technique, and the time of the study was November. 2021. The data obtained from the results of the last study were analyzed descriptively and the Pearson correlation test. The results of this study indicate that the identification of the age group of 15-17 years of Balinese ethnicity through panoramic radiographic images of the lower third molars using the Gleiser and Hunt method can be carried out.
