The data were descriptively analysed using a word tree diagram from a morphology perspective, in accordance with Lieber (2009). The findings were presented using an informal method with a comprehensive analysis and a formal method through tables and diagrams. The finding showed that all types of compounds were found in the novel with different numbers of occurrences. The total number of compounds shown in the finding is 184. 175 compound words are classified as attributive. There are 5 coordinative compounds and 4 subordinative compounds. Based on the semantic point of view, the best data are classified as endocentric for 178 compounds. On the other hand, there are 6 exocentric compounds.
