KEUNTUNGAN FINANSIAL PEMELIHARAAN BABI INDUK DI DUSUN SEMAON DESA PUHU, KECAMATAN PAYANGAN, KABUPATEN GIANYAR

ABSTRAK
Pertanian merupakan sektor yang berperan penting dalam membangun perekonomian Nasional. Salah satu sub sektor pertanian adalah sub sektor peternakan, sektor ini diarahkan untuk meningkatkan mutu hasil produksi, meningkatkan pendapatan, mempeluas lapangan kerja serta memberikan kesempatan berusaha bagi masyarakat di pedesaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis keuntungan finansial usaha pemeliharaan babi induk dan untuk menganalisis efisiensi usaha pemeliharaan babi induk di Dusun Semaon, Desa Puhu, Kecamatan Payangan, Kabupaten Gianyar. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada peternak babi induk di Dusun semaon dari bulan Desember 2020-Februari 2021. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: Data Kuantitatif dan Data Kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah: Data Primer dan Data Sekunder. Metode penentuan responden dilakukan dengan metode sensus yaitu mengunakan seluruh populasi sebagai responden yang berjumlah sebanyak 30 orang peternak. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian meliputi, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keuntungan finansial pemeliharaan babi induk pertahun untuk 98 ekor di dusun semaon, desa puhu, kecamatan payangan, kabupaten gianyar Rp. 43.450.157,- dengan total total biaya produksi sebesar Rp 83.949.843,- dan nilai penerimaan sebesar Rp. 127.400.000. Efisiensi usaha pemeliharaan babi induk di Dusun Semaon berada dalam kondisi efisien dengan nilai R/C sebesar 1,517. Usaha ternak babi induk memiliki potensi untuk berkembang, hal ini disebabkan permintaan babi dari daerah sekitarnya sangat tinggi sebagai peternak perlu meningkatkan skala usaha dengan meningkatkan jumlah induk babi yang dipelihara.

ABSTRACT
Agriculture is a sector that plays an important role in building the national economy. One of the agricultural sub-sectors is the livestock sub-sector, this sector is directed to improve the quality of production, increase income, expand employment opportunities and provide business opportunities for people in rural areas. The purpose of this study was to analyze the financial benefits of rearing sows and to analyze the efficiency of rearing sows in Semaon Hamlet, Puhu Village, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency. This research was conducted on sow breeders in the Sememon Hamlet from December 2020-February 2021. The types of data used in this study are: Quantitative Data and Qualitative Data. Sources of data in this study are: Primary Data and Secondary Data. The method of determining respondents was carried out by the census method, which used the entire population as respondents, totaling 30 farmers. Data collection methods in the study include, observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the financial benefits of rearing sows per year for 98 heads in the hamlet of semaon, village of puhu, sub-district of Payangan, district of gianyar were Rp. 43.450.157, - with a total production cost of Rp. 83.949.843, - and a revenue value of Rp. 127,400,000. The efficiency of rearing sows in Semaon Hamlet is in an efficient condition with an R/C value of 1.517. The sow breeding business has the potential to develop, this is because the demand for pigs from the surrounding area is very high as breeders need to increase the scale of their business by increasing the number of sows kept.
