Abstract
This research was conducted to figure out whether the subjects speaking skill can be improved use the Think Pair Share Combined with Picture. The subjects were seventh-grade students of SMP Pelangi Dharma Nusantara. There were 24 subjects who consist 15 males and 9 females action research design. The design was Classroom Action Research. The Data which were needed for the present study were collected through Think Pair Share combined with picture technique in two cycle and the obtained data was analyzed quantify from pre-test, post-test I, and post-test II, then questioner. The result showed that the students mean score had significant improvement from the pre-test was 63 to 78 in posttest I, and 88 in post-test II. Furthermore, to collect the additional supporting data, the researcher administered the questionnaire at the end of cycle II. It showed positive responses toward the implementation of Think Pair Share Combined with picture. In conclusion, it could be conclude that speaking skills of the seventhgrade of SMP Pelangi Dharma Nusantara in academic year 2023/2024 could be improved use Think Pair Share Combined with Picture.
