A Conflict Analysis of Schizophrenia Character Found in Lars and The Real Girl Movie

This study used Lars and the Real Girl as a data source to find out the conflicts faced by the main character as a schizophrenic character and how he will manage the conflict strategies that he faced by qualitative methods. This study conducted research used theory by Kenney's (1966) which obtained 3 data of internal conflicts and 10 data of external conflict faced by the main character, 8 of the those found Lars faced man against man, and 1 data for Lars faced man against society. In addition, this study analysed the strategy solution carried out by the main character according to Thomas and Kilmann (1970) found 6 data of Avoiding strategy, 2 data of accommodating strategy, 1 data of collaborating, 3 data of competing management
