INSIDENSI DAN KEPARAHAN PENYAKIT Sweet potato leaf curl virus (SPLCV) PADA UBI JALAR (Ipomea batatas L.) DI GIANYAR, BALI

Abstrak

Penelitian ini berjudul “Insidensi dan Keparahan Penyakit Sweet potato leaf curl virus (SPLCV) Pada Ubi Jalar (Ipomea batatas L) di Subak Payal, Gianyar Bali” Bertujuan untuk menentukan insidensi dan keparahan penyakit tanaman ubi jalar akibat infeksi SPLCV. Produksi ubi jalar mengalami fluktuasi setiap tahunnya, salah satu faktor yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan produksi ubi jalar yaitu adanya hama dan penyakit yang menyerang. Sweet potato leaf curl virus (SPLCV) merupakan salah satu penyakit yang menyerang ubi jalar. Sampai saat ini, di Indonesia belum ada informasi mengenai insidensi dan keparahan penyakit akibat infeksi SPLCV, oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian dalam menentukan insidensi dan keparahan penyakit akibat infeksi SPLCV sebagai informasi dasar penentuan status OPTK. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laju infeksi virus SPLCV setiap minggunya mengalami peningkatan pada pengamatan pertama rata-rata insidensi penyakit dilahan mencapai 51,93% hingga pada pengamatan kelima ratarata insidensi penyakit mencapai 68%. Pada pengamatan pertama rata-rata keparahan penyakit dilahan mencapai 14,53 % hingga pada pengamatan kelima rata-rata keparahan penyakit mencapai 33,1%. Perhitungan nilai AUDPC dari data perkembangan insidensi penyakit dan keparahan penyakit pada masing-masing lahan yang diamati didapatkan nilai yang berbeda-beda. Nilai AUDPC pada lahan satu insidensi penyakit ialah 1561,00 dan keparahan penyakitnya 431,69, pada lahan dua insidensi penyakit ialah 1586,62 dan keparahan penyakitnya 560,035, pada lahan tiga insidensi penyakit ialah 1638,04 dan keparahan penyakitnya 573,965, pada lahan empat insidensi penyakitnya ialah 1656,66 dan keparahan penyakitnya 755,93, dan pada lahan lima insidensi penyakitnya ialah 1621,73 dan keparahan penyakitnya 520,38.

Abstract

This study entitled "Incidence and Severity of Sweet Potato Leaf Curl Virus (SPLCV) in Sweet Potatoes (Ipomea batatas L) in Subak Payal, Gianyar Bali" aims to determine the incidence and severity of sweet potato disease due to SPLCV infection. Sweet potato production fluctuates every year, one of the factors that can cause a decrease in sweet potato production is the presence of pests and diseases that attack. Sweet potato leaf curl virus (SPLCV) is a disease that attacks sweet potatoes. Until now, in Indonesia there is no information regarding the incidence and severity of disease due to SPLCV infection, therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to determine the incidence and severity of disease due to SPLCV infection as basic information for determining OPTK status. The method used in this study is the chi-square method. The results showed that the infection rate of SPLCV virus increased every week from the first observation, the average incidence of disease in the field reached 51.93%, and on the fifth observation, the average incidence of disease reached 68%. In the first observation the average disease severity in the field reached 14.53% until the fifth observation the average disease severity reached 33.1%. The calculation of the AUDPC value from data on the development of disease incidence and disease severity in each observed field obtained different values. The AUDPC value in the field of one disease incidence was 1561.00 and the severity of the disease was 431.69, in the field of two disease incidence was 1586.62 and the severity of the disease was 560.035, in the field of three disease incidence was 1638.04 and the severity of the disease was 573.965, in the field of four incidences the disease is 1656.66 and the severity of the disease is 755.93, and in five fields the incidence of the disease is 1621.73 and the severity of the disease is 520.38.
