Peningkatan Mutu Buah Salak Gula Pasir Melalui Pemberian Air Dan Pupuk Majemuk

The research was aimed to improving the quality of fruit of salak trees cv. Gulapasir had been undertaken in the new developed area i.e. the village of Pajahan, Tabanan Regency, Bali from March to November 2011. This study utilized A Split Plot Design consisted of three replications. The main factor was the provision of water i.e. through the provision and without the provision of water. The sub factor was the dose of compound fertilizer (NPK = 15: 15: 15) consisting of: 0 g (no fertilizer), 60 g, 120 g, 180 g, 240 g, 300 g and 360 g tree-1 . The results showed that the quality of fruit of salak trees cv. Gulapasir in the new developed area can be improved and enhanced. The provision of NPK fertilizer dosed 240 g tree-1 and the provision of water as much as 280.33 l season -1 tree-1 or 1.5 l day-1 tree-1 from drip irrigation system, the quality of fruit including the weight of fruit fruit-1 , the flesh of the fruit, the edible portion, total sugar and vitamin C levels can be increased compared to the plants without NPK fertilizers as well as the provision of water.
