Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the types of nominalization and constructions utilized in Muniba Mazari's selected speeches. The speeches, which were composed of three addresses, were gathered from textual sources and online videos. The descriptive qualitative method was used in this study, and the theory of nominalization by Quirk et al. was applied. The data-gathering approaches were carried out using a documented manner. Videos and voice transcriptions that were available online served as the study's supporting materials. The findings showed that not all three nominalization types were applied in the three selected speeches. The nominalization with the gerundive noun type, which had thirty data (38,9%), was employed in all three of the chosen utterances. Among the three selected speeches, the verbal noun type nominalization was only employed once (1,29%), and that was in the second speech. In contrast, the deverbal noun type, which had forty-six data (59,74%) was most frequently used in the three selected speeches.
