Abstract
ABSTRAK
Tanaman sawi pakcoy merupakan salah satu tanaman sayuran yang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat. Tanaman sawi pakcoy memiliki potensi nilai ekonomi yang sangat tinggi bagi para pelaku usaha tani. Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (2019), produksi tanaman sawi-sawian di Bali mengalami penurunan dari tahun 2018 dimana hasil panen pertahunnya yaitu sebesar 34.192 ton sedangkan pada tahun 2019 hasil panen peratahunnya hanya sebesar 28.320 ton. Penurunan produktivitas sawi pakcoy disebabkan oleh berbagai macam salah satunya adalah penurunan kualitas lahan. Oleh karena itu penelitian tentang pemberian dosis biochar tempurung kelapa terhadap tanaman sawi pakcoy perlu dilakukan dengan tujuan : 1) Mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pemberian dosis biochar tempurung kelapa terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil Tanaman sawi pakcoy (Brassica rapa L). 2) Mengetahui berapakah dosis biochar tempurung kelapa yang paling baik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil Tanaman sawi pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 5 perlakuan yaitu perlakuan dosis biochar 100 g/ 10 kg tanah (B1), dosis biochar 150 g/ 10 kg tanah (B2), dosis biochar 200 g/ 10 kg tanah (B3), dosis biochar 250 g/ 10 kg tanah (B4), dosis biochar 300 g/ 10 kg tanah (B5). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak empat kali sehingga semua perlakuan menjadi 20. Dalam uji pengaruh dosis biochar tempurung kelapa terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil Tanaman sawi pakcoy, aplikasi biochar tempurung kelapa 200 g/ 10 kg tanah memberikan hasil pertumbuhan yang paling baik terhadap semua parameter yang diamati, yaitu : Tinggi tanaman (cm), Jumlah daun (helai), Luas Daun (cm), Berat segar tanaman tanpa akar (g), Berat kering tanaman tanpa akar (g).
ABSTRACT
Pakcoy plant is a vegetable plant that is in great demand by the public. Pakcoy plants have a very high potential economic value for farming business actors. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (2019), the production of mustard greens in Bali has decreased from 2018 where the annual harvest was 34,192 tons while in 2019 the annual harvest was only 28,320 tons. The decline in pakcoy productivity is caused by various kinds, one of which is a decrease in land quality. Therefore research on dosing of coconut shell biochar to mustard greens needs to be carried out with the aim of: 1) Knowing how the effect of giving coconut shell biochar doses on the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) plants. 2) Knowing what dose of coconut shell biochar is best for the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) plants. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) method with 5 treatments, namely treatment with a dose of biochar 100 g/10 kg of soil (B1), a dose of biochar of 150 g/10 kg of soil (B2), a dose of biochar of 200 g/10 kg of soil (B3)., the dose of biochar is 250 g/10 kg of soil (B4), the dose of biochar is 300 g/10 kg of soil (B5). Each treatment was repeated four times so that all treatments became 20. In testing the effect of coconut shell biochar doses on the growth and yield of pakcoy plants, the application of coconut shell biochar 200 g/10 kg of soil gave the best growth results for all parameters observed, namely: Plant height (cm), Number of leaves (strands), Leaf area (cm), Fresh weight of plants without roots (g), Dry weight of plants without roots (g).
