Efektivitas Ekstrak Kunyit (Curcuma Longa) Terhadap Lesi Ulkus Traumatikus Pada Mencit Jantan (Mus musculus L)

Abstrak

Kunyit merupakan tanaman herbal yang biasanya di gunakan masyarakat sebagai obat herbal dalam mempercepat penyembuhan luka terutama luka sayat pada rongga mulut, sehingga perlu diuji dalam keefektifan dalam penggunaannya.penelitian yang berjudul Efektivitas ekstrak kunyit (Curcuma Longa) terhadap Lesi Ulkus Traumatikus pada mencit jantan (Mus musculus L) bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah sel makrofag dengan perbandingan ekstrak kunyit 50%,100% dan kontrol negatif menggunakan aquades. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan pada analisis data sebanyak 18 mencit jantan. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji non parametrik yaitu uji Kruskal Wallis dan Man Whitney. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan efektivitas ekstrak kunyit terhadap lesi ulkus traumatikus pada mencit jantan. Terdapat perbedaan antara kelompok perlakuan ekstrak kunyit ekstrak 50% dengan perlakuan ekstrak kunyit ekstrak 100% terhadap lesi ulkus traumatis pada mencit jantan. Bahwa ekstrak kunyit (Curcuma Longa) terbukti efektif terhadap penyembuhan Lesi Ulkus Traumatikus pada mencit (Mus musculus L). Tingkat efektivitas dapat dilihat pada jumlah makrofag yang terus mengalami peningkatan pada ekstrak kunyit 100%.

Turmeric is an herbal plant that is usually used by the public as a herbal medicine to accelerate wound healing, especially incisions in the oral cavity, so it needs to be tested for its effectiveness in its use.(Mus musculus L) aims to determine the number of macrophage cells with a ratio of 50%, 100% turmeric extract and positive control using distilled water. The number of samples used in data analysis was 18 male mice. Testing the research hypothesis using a non-parametric test, namely the Kruskal Wallis and Man Whitney tests. The test results showed that there was a significant difference in the effectiveness of turmeric extract against traumatic ulcer lesions in male mice. There was a difference between the 50% turmeric extract treatment group and the 100% turmeric extract treatment group for traumatic ulcer lesions in male mice. that turmeric extract (Curcuma Longa) proved effective against the healing of Traumatic Ulcer Lesions in mice (Mus musculus L). The level of effectiveness can be seen in the number of macrophages which continues to increase in 100% turmeric extract.
