PENGARUH DOSIS EKSTRAK DAUN BUNGA PUKUL EMPAT (Mirabilis jalapa Linn) DALAM MENGENDALIKAN PENYAKIT KERITING KUNING PADA TANAMAN CABAI RAWIT (Capsicum frutescens Linn)

Tanaman cabai termasuk salah satu komoditas yang memiliki nilai ekonomis yang cukup tinggi di pasar domestik maupun luar negeri. Salah satu cara mengendalikan serangan penyakit keriting kuning adalah dengan menginduksi ketahanan sistemik pada tanaman cabai. Daun bunga pukul empat dilaporkan dapat menginduksi ketahanan sistemik terhadap pathogen antraknosa dan cucumber mosaic virus (CMV). Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Dosis Ekstrak Daun Bunga Pukul Empat (Mirabilis jalapa Linn) Dalam Mengendalikan Penyakit Keriting Kuning Pada Tanaman Cabai Rawit (Capsicum frutescens Linn)”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak daun bunga pukul empat terhadap ketahanan tanaman cabai rawit terhadap penyakit keriting kuning serta untuk mengetahui dosis ekstrak daun bunga pukul empat yang efektif dan efisien untuk memberikan daya tahan tanaman cabai rawit terhadap penyakit keriting kuning. Penelitian ini dimulai dari bulan Desember 2021 hingga bulan Juni 2022. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan Kantor BPTP (Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian) Bali. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan enam perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak empat kali. Berdasarkan hasil uji Duncan taraf 5% menyimpulkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak daun bunga pukul empat berpengaruh sangat nyata dalam mengendalikan penyakit keriting kuning pada tanaman cabai rawit. Perlakuan dosis ekstrak daun bunga pukul empat 60ml mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan menekan nilai insiden dan intensitas penyakit keriting kuning pada tanaman cabai rawit hingga 100%, karena tidak ada gejala serangan pada tanaman cabai rawit yang muncul dari 1 MST hingga panen.

ABSTRACT
Chili plants are one of the commodities that have a fairly high economic value in the domestic and foreign markets. One way to control the attack of Gemini virus is to induce systemic resistance in chili plants. Mirabilis jalapa flower leaves are reported can induce systemic resistance to anthracnose pathogens and cucumber mosaic virus (CMV). This study was titled "The Effect Doses of Mirabilis jalapa Linn Flower Leaf Extract In Controlling Gemini virus In Cayenne Pepper Plants (Capsicum frutescens Linn)". The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Mirabilis jalapa leaf extract on the resistance of cayenne pepper plants to Gemini virus and to determine the effective and efficient dose of Mirabilis jalapa leaf extract to provide cayenne pepper plant resistance to Gemini virus. This research starts from December, 2021 to June, 2022. This research was carried out on the land of the Agricultural Technology Assessment Center Office Bali. The method used in this study was the Group Randomized Design (GRD) method with six treatments repeated four times. Based on the results of the 5% Duncan test, it was concluded that the Mirabilis jalapa leaf extract had a very noticeable effect in controlling Gemini virus in cayenne pepper plants. The dose treatment of Mirabilis jalapa leaf extract at a dose of 60 ml was able to increase growth and suppress the incidence value and intensity of Gemini virus in cayenne pepper plants up to 100%, because there were no symptoms of Gemini viurs attack on cayenne pepper plants that appeared from one week after planting to harvest.
