Abstract
Penelitian dengan judul pengaruh pemberian beberapa jenis pupuk kandang terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman salada (Lactuca sativa L) telah dilakukan di kebun percobaan Jalan Banteng Denpasar dan Laboratorium Agroteknologi Fakultas Pertanian dan Bisnis Universitas mahasaraswati Denpasar dari bulan Februari sampai Mei 2021. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 5 perlakuan dan diulang 5 kali sehingga diperoleh 25 unit percoban. Perlakuan 5 terdiri dari 4 jenis pupuk kandang dan 1 kontrol yaitu :pupuk kandang sapi, pupuk kandang ayam, pupuk kandang kambing, pupuk kandang babi dan kontrol tanpa pemberian pupuk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : Untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada yang diberi beberapa jenis pupuk kandang yang berbeda yaitu pupuk kandang sapi, ayam, kambing, dan babi. Untuk mengetahui pupuk kandang yang dapat memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada terbaik diantara pupuk kandang sapi, ayam, kambing dan babi. Hasil dan kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah : Pemberian beberapa jenis pupuk kandang ternyata pada saat panen memberikan peningkatan berat segar tanaman salada tanpa akar yaitu berturut-turut meningkat 266,90% pada pemberian pupuk kandang sapi; 81,29%pada pemberian pupuk kandang ayam; 66,18% pada pemberian pupuk kandang kambing dan 22,30 % pada pemberian pupuk kandang babi dibandingkan dengan tanaman salada tanpa pemberian pupuk kandang. Pemberian pupuk kandang sapi ternyata memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman salada terbaik dibandingkan dengan pemberian pupuk kandang ayam, pupuk kandang kambing ataupun pupuk kandang babi. Untuk mendapatkan hasil tanaman salada yang lebih baik disarankan menggunakan pupuk kandang sapi dari pada menggunakan pupuk kandang ayam, pupuk kandang kambing ataupun pupuk kandang babi.
ABSTRACT
A study entitled the effect of giving several types of drum fertilizer on the growth and yield of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L) was carried out in the experimental garden of Jjalan Banteng Denpasar and the Laboratory of Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture and Business, Mahasaraswati University Denpasar from February to May 2021. The study used a randomized block design. (RAK) with 5 treatments and repeated 5 times to obtain 25 experimental units. Treatment 5 consisted of 4 types of manure and 1 control, namely: cow manure, chicken manure, goat manure, pig manure and control without fertilizer application. The purposes of this study were : To determine the growth and yield of lettuce plants that were given several different types of manure, namely manure for cows, chickens, goats, and pigs. To find out which manure can provide the best growth and yield of lettuce among cow, chicken, goat and pig manure. The results and conclusions of this study are . The application of several types of kandang fertilizer turned out at the time of harvest to increase the fresh weight of lettuce plants without roots, which increased 266.90% in the application of cow drum fertilizer; 81.29% in the application of chicken drum fertilizer; 66.18% with goat drums fertilizer and 22.30% on pig drums fertilizer compared to salada plants without drum fertilizer . Giving cow drum fertilizer turned out to give the best growth and yield of salad plants compared to chicken drum fertilizer, manure fertilizer goat or pig drums. To get a better yield of salada plants, it is recommended to use cow drum fertilizer instead of using chicken manure fertilizer, goat drum fertilizer or pig drum fertilizer.
