AN ANALYSIS OF CONFLICT RELATED TO PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECT OF THE MAIN CHARACTER IN CRUELLA MOVIE

The study concerns with conflicts related to psychological aspect of the main character in Cruella movie by Craig Glliespie. The study aims to find out the types of conflict faced by the main character in Cruella movie and to analyze the psychological aspect of human motivation that related to the conflict faced by the main character in Cruella movie. This study utilized descriptive qualitative method in collecting and analyzing the data. The data were taken from the main character in Cruella movie by Craig Glliespie and the data were analyzed by theory proposed by Nurgiyantoro (1995) to describe the types of conflicts and the theory proposed by Benhardt (1953) to analyze the types of psychological aspect of human motivation. The study concludes that the psychological aspects of human motivation have a major influence on human actions and behavior as well as conflicts that occur can be influenced or affect the psychological aspect. Cruella or Estella asthe main character in the Cruella movie experienced several conflicts that indirectly affect the psychological emotions and the resulting action. There are 12 data refer to the types of conflicts experienced by the main character including Internal Conflicts and External Conflicts. Based on the existing data, there is no conflict that refers to the External Conflict with the type Character Vs. Nature because the main character focuses more on the conflicts that occur in themselves and with the other characters. There are 13 data refer to the psychological aspect which includes four of the five aspects including the Aspect of Want, Emotion as Motive, Feeling and Attitudes as Motive and Social Motive. There is no data that refers to the Aspect of Organic Needs because the aspect has no relation to the conflict experienced by the main character.
