PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP KARYA FILM CIPTAAN MAHASISWA INSTITUT SENI INDONESIA DI DENPASAR

Abstract
Given the importance of Copyright, including film copyrighted works, every new film creator has the right to get protection and benefits from Copyright for their creations by registering their copyright. This research is an empirical juridical research with the type of approach used in this research are the fact approach (The Fact Approach) and the statutory approach (The Statue Approach). This thesis discusses the implementation of legal protection for films created by students of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Denpasar and the inhibiting factors in providing legal protection for films created by students of the Indonesian Arts Institute Denpasar. The implementation of protection for student-made films at the Indonesian Art Institute in Denpasar has not been implemented perfectly and has encountered many obstacles that cause negative impacts.

Abstrak
Mengingat pentingnya Hak Cipta termasuk karya cipta film, maka setiap pencipta film baru berhak mendapatkan perlindungan dan manfaat dari Hak Cipta akan ciptaannya dengan cara mencatatkan hak ciptanya. penelitian ini adalah penelitian x yuridis empiris dengan jenis pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan fakta (The Fact Approach) dan pendekatan perundang-undangan (The Statue Approach). Dalam skripsi ini dibahas mengenai pelaksanaan perlindungan hukum terhadap karya cipta film ciptaan mahasiswa Institut Seni Indonesia Denpasar dan faktor penghambat dalam memberikan perlindungan hukum terhadap karya cipta film ciptaan mahasiswa Institut Seni Indonesia Denpasar. Pelaksanaan perlindungan terhadap karya film ciptaan mahasiswa di Institut Seni Indonesia di Denpasar belum bisa diterapkan secara sempurna dan mengalami banyak kendala yang menyebabkan dampak-dampak negatif.
