ANALISIS RESEPSI SASTRA PEMBACA TERHADAP STRUKTUR INTRINSIK NOVEL BUMI MANUSIA KARYA PRAMOEDYA ANANTA TOER

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur intrinsik yang terdiri dari Tema, Tokoh dan Penokohan, Alur, Latar, Sudut Pandang, Bahasa dan Amanat, serta untuk mengetahui kritik pembaca terhadap novel Bumi Manusia melalui resepsi sastra pembaca. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dan kuesioner. Data dalam penelitian ini diolah dengan teknik analisis kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teori untuk mengecek keabsahan data penelitian. Adapun langkah-langkah dalam menganalisis data sebagai berikut (a) mereduksi data, (b) penyajian data, (c) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman pembaca terhadap cerita khususnya pada struktur intrinsik novel tergolong sangat baik sesuai dengan tingkat pemahaman responden masing-masing yang dapat dilihat dari hasil jawaban pembaca sesuai dengan pertanyaan yang telah diberikan yaitu analisis terhadap tema dalam novel adalah kisah percintaan dan perjuangan pemuda Pribumi untuk mendapatkan cintanya dengan seorang gadis Eropa yang terhalang oleh status sosial. Tokoh yang diceritakan terdapat 15 tokoh dengan lima tokoh utama. Alur yang digunakan dalam novel ini yaitu alur campuran karena pada bagian awal cerita sudah terdapat konflik kemudian disusul dengan pengenalan cerita serta permasalahan yang diceritakan secara runtut. Latar tempat, waktu dan suasana digambarkan secara jelas dan bersifat fungsional. Sudut pandang menggunakan sudut pandang orang pertama yang terbukti dari kata“aku”. Bahasa yang digunakan yaitu bahasa Indonesia (formal) dan bahasa Belanda dengan campuran tata bahasa pada abad 19-20an. Amanat yang disampaikan yaitu harus memiliki jiwa semangat, pergerakkan, perjuangan terhadap sesuatu yang ingin diraih. Berdasarkan tanggapan pembaca terhadap novel hampir keseluruhan pembaca menyatakan cerita dalam novel Bumi Manusia ini sangatlah bagus, walaupun bahasa yang digunakan tergolong sulit dimengerti oleh pembaca, namun hal tersebut tidak menjadi masalah karena isi cerita keseluruhan dapat dibaca dan diselesaikan dengan baik.

Abstract :
This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to describe the intrinsic structure consisting of Theme, Characterizations and Characterizations, Plot, Setting, Point of View, Language and Mandate, as well as to find out the reader's criticism of the novel Bumi Manusia through the reader's literary reception. Data was collected by interview and questionnaire methods. The data in this study were processed by qualitative analysis techniques using source triangulation techniques and theoretical triangulation to check the validity of the research data. The steps in analyzing the data are as follows (a) reducing the data, (b) presenting the data, (c) drawing conclusions. The results showed that the reader's understanding of the story, especially the intrinsic structure of the novel, was very good according to the level of understanding of each respondent which could be seen from the results of the reader's answers according to the questions that had been given. Namely the analysis of the theme in the novel is the love story and the struggle of an Indigenous youth to get his love with a European girl who is hindered by social status. There are 15 characters in the story with five main characters. The plot used in this novel is a mixed plot because at the beginning of the story there has been a conflict, then it is continued with the introduction of the story and the problems that are told in a coherent manner. The setting of place, time and atmosphere are described clearly and functionally. His point of view uses the first person point of view which is evident from the word "I". The languages used are Indonesian (formal) and Dutch with mixed grammar in the 19-20s centuries. The message conveyed is that you must have a spirit of enthusiasm, movement, struggle for something you want to achieve. Based on the reader's response to the novel, almost all readers stated that the story in this novel Bumi Manusia is very good, even though the language used is quite difficult for readers to understand, but this is not a problem because the overall contents of the novel can be read and completed well.
