CODE SWITCHING FOUND IN MAUDY AYUNDA’S YOUTUBE CHANNEL

This study concern with the code switching found in Maudy Ayunda’s utterances YouTube channel. The write analyzed the type of code switching based on the theory Poplack (1980) and theory Hoffman (1991) was used to analyzed the reason of code switching. In this object of research are to classify the type and the reason of code switching. In this research, descriptive qualitative is used of method of the analyze. The data were taken from by videos YouTube channel Maudy Ayunda’s. For the types the tree type of code switching, namely: tag switching, inter-sentential switching and intra-sentential switching. Were all found. Meanwhile for the reasons there are seven talking about particular topic, being emphatic about something and the last dominant is intentions of clarifying the speech for interlocutor
