Abstract
The undertaking of the research was mainly based on a preliminary study. The objective of this research is to find out the correlation between reading and writing ability of the tenth students of SMKN 1 Mas Ubud in academic year 2022/2023. The researcher conducted Ex-Post Facto research which was done by administering the tests to the students. The subjects were tenth grade students of SMKN 1 Mas Ubud in the class X PH 7. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 25.0 program which be used to compare the measurement result of the two different variables in order to determine whether there is a correlation between these two variables or not. The results showed a significant correlation between students reading habit and writing ability. It could be stated that there is a significant correlation between reading habit and writing ability of the tenth-grade students of SMKN 1 Mas Ubud in academic year 2022/2023.
