Abstract
Salak (Salacca- Zalacca var Amboinensis) cv. Gulapasir is a superior product of Bali region, because the sweet fruit flavor, no taste astringent, thick flesh and seeds are not attached to the flesh of fruit, so that the price is 4-6 times more expensive than the Bali salak. The problem faced is the fruit harvest not continuously and quality of salak does not meet SNI 01-3167-1992. To eliminate the gap and to address these problems, required the transfer of technology through training and demonstration plots unit in the field with the expected target (1) The group of salak farmers in Pajahan village will be able to produce the fruit of salak CV Gulapasir off-season that means the plant will bear fruit not only on year season but also bear fruit in season Gadu and Sela-2 with production greater than the previous result of 4.5 kg to 6 kg / tree / year. (2) The farmers' income will increase 44%. The results obtained , provision of drip irrigation and 180 g NPK fertilizer per tree could increased fruit weight and farmers' profits on Gadu and Sela-2 season and was able to create the fruits out of season. Fruit size were produced is corresponding with standard SNI 01-3167-1992 with average fruit size greater than> 60 g per fruit. Fruit bunches wrapped causes brighter color of the skin fruit, while the fruit thinning could increased fruit size and weight of fruit per fruit.
