Abstract

The object of this study was to know whether or not writing skill of the eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Blahbatuh in academic year 2021/2022 can be improved after being taught through the application of simultaneous roundtable. Therefore, to achieve the objective of study,the researcher conducted a classroom action research. The research was done by two cycle and each cycles consisted of two sessions. The research instruments were given in order two collab the data needed. The research showed that there were significant improvements of the subjects’ meean score the pre-test was 56.00, post-test 1 was 71.63 and post-test 2 was 87.10. As supporting data, the quistionnare was also administered at the end of the last cycle and the result showed possitive responses with the implementation of Simultaneous Roundtable. Based on the result of it could be conclude that writing skill of eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Blahbatuh in academic year 2021/2022 can be improved through Simultaneous Roundtable.
