PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS NARASI MENGGUNAKAN MODEL CONCEPT SENTENCE DENGAN MEDIA KARTU KATA PADA SISWA KELAS X PARIWISATA SMK SARASWATI 2 DENPASAR TAHUN AKADEMIK 2019/2020

ABSTRAK
Dalam pembelajaran menulis teks narasi di kelas X pariwisata SMK Saraswati 2 Denpasar, siswa sering mengalami kesulitan. Siswa tidak mampu merangkaikan cerita mereka secara runtut dengan kalimat yang baik dan benar. Siswa sangat kesulitan untuk merangkaikan setiap peristiwa yang ingin mereka ceritakan dalam teks narasi mereka. Hal ini membuat teks narasi siswa tidak terarah dan beraturan. Alur cerita menjadi kacau sehingga membuat pembaca tidak paham Siswa di kelas tersebut tidak memerhatikan kohesi dan koherensi dalam teks narasi yang mereka tulis. Mereka menulis dengan tidak memerhatikan kepaduan bentuk dan kepaduan makna. Hal ini terjadi karena siswa di kelas tersebut tidak memiliki konsep alur yang dapat dijadikan sebagai patokan untuk menulis teks narasi. Padahal konsep alur diperlukan agar siswa mampu mengurutkan cerita dari setiap alur dan menghubungkan alur-alur tersebut menjadi satu wacana yang utuh. Metode ini tentu tidak tepat dalam membina siswa menulis teks narasi sebab siswa akan menemukan permasalahan-permasalahan di atas. Maka dari itu, metode concept sentence merupakan metode yang paling tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan di atas. Pada tes awal peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks narasi dari 24 siswa memperoleh skor standar 132 dengan nilai rata-rata 5,50 dengan yang dikelompokan dalam katagori kurang. Pada Siklus I peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks narasi dari 24 siswa memperoleh skor standar 178 dengan nilai ratarata 7,42 dengan yang dikelompokan dalam katagori lebi dari cukup. Pada siklus II peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks narasi dari 24 siswa memperoleh skor standar 188 dengan nilai rata-rata 8,25 dengan yang dikelompokan dalam katagori baik. Penerapan metode concept sentence dan media kartu kata sangat efektif meningkakan kemampuan siswa untuk menulis teks narasi. Metode ini membuat siswa lebih terampil untuk memformulasikan kata-katanya dengan berlandaskan pada kartu kata yang dibagikan oleh guru.

ABSTRACT
In learning to write narrative text in classs X SMK Saraswati 2 Denpasar, students often experience difficulties. Students are not able to order their stories coherently with good and correct sentences. Students find it very difficult to put together every event that they want to tell in their narrative text. This makes the narrative text of the students unfocused and orderly. The storyline is messed up so that the reader doesn’t understand. Student in the class did not pay attention to the cohesion and coherence in the narrative text they wrote. They write without payng attention to coherence of form and coherence of meaning. This occurs because students in class do not have a flow concept that can be used as benchmark for writing narrative text. Even thought the plot concept is needed so that students are able to sequence the stories from each plot and connect the plot lines into one complete discourse. This method is the most appropriate method to overcome the above problems. In the initial test, the improvement in the ability to write narrative text from 24 students obtained a standard score of 132 with an average score of 5,50 with those grouped in the less category. In cycle 1, the increase in the ability to write narrative text from 24 students obtained a standard score of 178 with an average score 0f 7,42, which were grouped in the more than enough category. In the second cycle the increase in the ablity to write narrative text from 24 students obtained a standart score of 188 with average score of 8,25, which were grouped in the good category. The application of the concept sentence method and word card media is very effective in increasing students ability to write narrative text. This method makes students more skilled to formulate words based on word cards distributed by the teacher.
