CODE SWITCHING ON DEDDY CORBUZIER'S PODCAST ENTITLED “MEREKA SEMUA BOHONG”

The study focused on analysing the types and the reasons for codeswitching and to identify the dominant and least dominant uses of the types and reasons for code-switching that were showed in Deddy Corbuzier podcast. The types and reasons of code switching that were discovered in the podcast conversation were clearly described in this study using quantitative and descriptive approaches that classified the frequency and percentage. The information was taken from the podcast Mereka Semua Bohong, which is one of Deddy's. The author of this study focuses on analysing the many different types and reasons of code-switching. Poplack (1980) used to describe the types and theory from Hoffman (1991) to define the reasons for code-switching. Codeswitching is an interesting topic to be discussed, since it was commonly used in different cultures and platforms today.
