Abstract

Tanaman tomat (lycopersicum esculentum) merupakan tanaman asli Benua Amerika dan penyebaran tomat di indonesia serta Negara Asia lainya pada abad ke-18.Tujuan penelitan ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pupuk kandang sapi pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk kanang sapi mana yang memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik pada tanaman tomat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan menggunakan pupuk kandang sapi dengan 6 taraf yaitu K0 tanpa pemberian pupuk kandang sapi K1,5 ton/ha pupuk kandang sapi (150g/polybag), K2, 10 ton/ha pupuk kandang sapi (300g/polybag), K3, 15 ton/ha pupuk kandang sapi (450g/polybag), K4, 20 ton/ha pupuk kandang sapi (600g/polybag), K5,25 ton/ha pupuk kandang sapi(750g/polybag). Setiap perlakuan di ulang sebanyak empat kali sehingga jumlah semua perlakuan menjadi 24. hasil pemberian pupuk kandang sapi terhadap setiap parameter yang di amati, berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah cabang, jumlah buah tanaman, jumlah buah panen total, berat segar buah total, berat kering oven buah total. Perlakuan dosis 20 ton/ha (600 g/polybag) memberikan hasil terbaik pada berat segar buah total yaitu 1231,75g dan berat kering oven buah total 47,30g.

ABSTRACT
Tomato plants (lycopersicum esculentum) are native to the Americas and the spread of tomatoes in Indonesia and other Asian countries in the 18th century. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cow manure on the growth and yield of tomato plants and to determine the effect of which dose of cow manure gave the best growth and yield to tomato plant. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) method using cow manure with 6 levels, namely K0 without cow manure, K1,5 tons/ha of cow manure (150g/polybag), K2, 10 tons/ha of cow manure ( 300g/polybag), K3, 15 tons/ha of cow manure (450g/polybag), K4, 20 tons/ha of cow manure (600g/polybag), K5,25 tons/ha of cow manure (750g/polybag). Each treatment was repeated four times so that the number of all treatments became 24. The results of giving cow manure to each parameter observed had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves and a very significant effect on number of branches, number of plant fruit, total harvested fruit. , total fruit fresh weight, total fruit oven dry weight. Treatment at a dose of 20 tons/ha (600 g/polybag) gave the best results on the total fresh fruit weight of 1231.75g and total fruit oven dry weight of 47.30g.
