IMPLEMENTASI ASIMILASI TERHADAP NARAPIDANA UNTUK PENCEGAHAN DAN PENANGGULANGAN PENYEBARAN COVID-19 DI LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN NARKOTIKA KELAS IIA BANGLI

Abstrak

Munculnya Corona Virus Disease 2019 membuat pemerintahmengeluarkan kebijakan untuk melakukan social distancing maupunphysical distancing di tengah-tengah masyarakat termasuk di dalamLapas. Dikarenakan keadaan Lapas yang over maka pemerintahmengeluarkan Kebijakan Menteri Hukum dan HAM RI Nomor: 10 tahun2020 tentang pengeluaran dan pembebasan narapidana melalui prosesasimilasi dan integrasi dalam menanggulangi pandemic Covid-19. Ternyatakebijakan ini menuai beberapa kontroversi, dari meningkatnya jumlahkriminalitas dan terjadinya residivis.

Abstract

The emergence of Corona Virus Disease 2019 made the government issuepolicies to carry out social distancing and physical distancing in thecommunity, including in prisons. Due to the overcrowded conditions inprisons, the government issued Policy of the Minister of Law and HumanRights of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 10 of 2020 concerningRelease and Release of Prisoners Through the Assimilation and IntegrationProcess in Handling the Covid-19 pandemic. It turns out that this policyreaped several controversies, ranging from an increase in the number ofcrimes to recidivism.
